Confiscation of all types of illegal fishing gear in Siem Reap Province
On 25 April 2022, the Siem Reap Provincial Administration issued a notification on the confiscation of all types of illegal fishing gear in Siem Reap Province.
In order to prevent fisheries crime in the Tonle Sap Lake fishing area and for the purpose of managing the sustainable use of fishery resources in accordance with the content of the Law on Fisheries, Siem Reap Provincial Administration would like to inform all fishermen to hand over illegal fishing gear to the competent authorities in the respective community.
