Notification for claimants of Huione Pay PLC to identify themselves
On 5 December 2025, the National Bank of Cambodia issued a statement requesting individuals who claim to be unpaid creditors of Huione Pay PLC—a payment service institution whose license was revoked in 2024—to present themselves and their supporting evidence at the NBC Sen Sok building from 8 to 19 December 2025. This notice follows social media reports of outstanding claims despite the institution’s liquidation having officially concluded in June 2025. The NBC also reminded the public to remain cautious and avoid unauthorized transactions involving crypto assets.
