Notification on the change of urban solid waste management from Phnom Penh Waste Management and Solid Waste Authority to Enterprise For Managing Municipal Solid Waste in Phnom Penh
On 5 January 2024, Phnom Penh Capital Administration issued a notification on the change of urban solid waste management from Phnom Penh Waste Management and Solid Waste Authority to Enterprise for Managing Municipal Solid Waste in Phnom Penh.
The Royal Government has decided to establish an Enterprise For Managing Municipal Solid Waste in Phnom Penh (EWP) in accordance with Sub-Decree No. 03, dated 5 January 2022, to replace the Phnom Penh Waste Management and Solid Waste Authority.
