Press release of the Embassy of Japan on the Japanese government’s grants provision to improve irrigation systems, maternal and child health and WASH, and youth capacity building
On 25 February 2020, the Embassy of Japan has issued a press release on the Japanese government’s grant for the construction of irrigation systems, improve maternal and child health and WASH, and capacity building of youth. The Government of Japan has agreed to provide US$890,471 in total for three recipient organizations under the framework, the Grant Assistance for Japanese NGO Projects. The three projects includes:
- Reservoir construction project for agriculture enhancement in Preah Vihear – Eco Village Area (US$85,019)
- Integrated Health, Nutrition and WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Project in Preah Vihear (Year 1) (US$452,427)
- Capacity building of Youth in Pailin, Cambodia: Reinforcement of Community Learning Center (CLC) (Year 1) (US$353,025)
