Press release on Cambodia welcoming the appointment of the chairperson of the Conciliation Commission under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea
On 14 July 2026, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on Cambodia welcoming the appointment of the chairperson of the Conciliation Commission under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
Following today’s announcement by the Permanent Court of Arbitration that the four conciliators have appointed Ms. Katrina Cooper as chairperson of the conciliation commission to be established pursuant to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia welcomes this appointment.
