On 15 February 2023, the Ministry of Women's Affairs issued a press release on the promotion and protection of women's rights.

The Ministry of Women's Affairs would like to express its regret and absolutely do not support for all activities that are violent, immoral, and detrimental to the honor, dignity, and worth of Cambodian women. The Ministry urges individuals who have disputes to adhere to a peaceful settlement.
