Announcement: Market interest rate for loans in 2025

On 20 January 2026, the General Department of Taxation issued an announcement on the market interest rate for loans in 2025.

The General Department of Taxation would like to determine the market interest rate for loans in 2025 based on the average calculation of the average annual lending interest rate of 12 major local commercial banks as follows:

9.36% per year for the Riel
8.45% per year for the US Dollar.
