Announcement on preventing discrimination and violence against Cambodian citizens and workers in Thailand
On 27 July 2025, Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training issued an announcement on preventing discrimination and violence against Cambodian citizens and workers in Thailand.
The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training of the Kingdom of Cambodia would like to appeal to Cambodian citizens and workers to return to their homeland as the Ministry has noted an increase in discrimination, pressure, violence, and threats to the safety and freedom of movement of Cambodian citizens and workers residing and working in Thailand, especially after the military invasion by Thailand of Cambodian territory along the Cambodian-Thai border on 24 July 2025.
