On 1 April 2026, Phnom Penh Municipal Administration issued an announcement on the organization of the “Nokor Sangkrant” event in Phnom Penh for 6 days from April 14 to April 19, 2026.
The Phnom Penh Municipal Administration will organize the “Nokor Sangkrant” to join in celebrating the traditional Khmer New Year and to participate in preserving and protecting the nation’s rich traditional customs and culture, attracting national and international tourists, in particular, to express deep gratitude and connect the New Year celebration with the heroes of the frontline forces and refugees under the spirit of unity and solidarity of the one great Khmer family.
