On 23 February 2021, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts released an announcement on the suspension of cinemas, art theaters, and museums for 2 weeks in Phnom Penh and Kandal province concerning the effects of COVID-19 in “the community transmission event on 20 February” is still spreading, and taking action to prevent further transmission.
