On 08 March 2021, the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport released an announcement on the suspension of gym businesses and all sports or exercises in Phnom Penh, Kandal province, Sihanoukville, and related provinces concerning the community transmission event on 20 February which is not better and needed to have further prevented transmission.
