On 22 June 2025, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued an announcement on the tense situation between Cambodia and Thailand.

Based on the tense situation in relations between Cambodia and Thailand on 22 June 2025, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation advises Cambodian citizens to avoid traveling to Thailand unless absolutely necessary.
