Announcement: Prohibition of importing, distributing, installing, and using telecommunications or radio frequency equipment without an import permit
On 14 January 2026, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued an announcement on the prohibition of importing, distributing, installing, and using telecommunications or radio frequency equipment without an import permit.
The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications would like to emphasize that operating in the telecommunications sector without a license, certificate, or permit from the Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia, and any activities contrary to the provisions of the Law on Telecommunications and related legal documents, will be subject to penalties in accordance with the law.
