MoU Signing ceremony on technical assistance for promoting the development of the securities sector in Cambodia
On 18 August 2022, the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) announced a press released on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) and Securities Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) and Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX).
The MoU on “Technical Assistance for Promoting the Development of the Securities Sector in Cambodia” organized in the aim at promoting the securities sector in Cambodia that UNCDF will provide the support for SERC and CSX as the following: 1) support the implementation of institutional capacity development and human capacity development, 2)support the development and regulation of new transboundary products, 3) facilitate south-south exchange and peer learning between SERC and CSX and similar regulatory institutions in ASEAN +3 and, 4) provide the support to the SERC and CSX for further development, adoption, and implementation of related frameworks and laws pertaining to sovereign and non-sovereign securities.
