On 18 May 2020, the Phnom Penh Municipal Administration issued a notification to all restaurant owners in Phnom Penh about the precautions to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The notification stated that, if the restaurants do not comply with the Phnom Penh Municipal Administration, the business will be temporarily confined.
