Press release of the spokesperson of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court on the Kem Sokha verdict
On 3 March 2023, the Phnom Penh Municipal Court spokesman released a public press release announcing the verdict in the criminal case of Mr. Kem Sokha, who is accused of conspiring with foreigners and will be punished per Articles 439 and 443 of the Criminal Code. Convict the accused further by permanently revoking the right to vote, contest elections, and participate in other political activities under Article 450 of the Criminal Code and subjecting the accused to court monitoring measures with the obligations.
