Announcement on the application for a license to establish and operate a data center
On 9 June 2025, Ministry of Post and Telecommunications issued an announcement on the application for a license to establish and operate a data center.
All companies that intend to establish and operate a data center for customers that provide services such as 1- data storage, website hosting and/or email 2- location and/or server rental 3- maintenance of software and/or computer equipment of customers deployed in the data center 4- protection and security of data in the data center 5- provision of cloud technology services including infrastructure services (Infrastructure as a Service – IaaS), services for software development and operation (Platform as a Service – PaaS) and services for software use (Software as a Service – SaaS) must apply for a license to establish and operate a data center from the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.
