Press release on the results of the first session and the first session of the 7th legislature of the National Assembly on 21 August 2023
On 21 August 2023, the General Secretariat of the National Assembly issued a press release on the results of the first session and the session of the National Assembly for the 7th legislature under the highest presidency of His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia. In the opening ceremony of the first session of the National Assembly of the 7th legislature, there were also dignitaries, leaders of important national institutions, diplomats in the Kingdom of Cambodia, and national and international guests, as well as members of the National Assembly of the 7th legislature. After the opening ceremony, there were two additional agenda items:
- Decision on the validity of the mandate of each member
- Adoption of internal rules of the 7th National Assembly
The first session of the national assembly of the 7th legislature will continue on the morning of 22 August 2023.
