On 26 November 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affair and International Cooperation issued a press release regarding Cambodia, China to advance cooperation for a shared future on their official website.

According to the press, H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. Wang Wenbin, ambassador of the PRC to Cambodia, expressed satisfaction with the current status of the multifaceted and longstanding bilateral relationship between the two countries.
