On 28 June 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release regarding the Kingdom of Cambodia and Japan strengthen Comprehensive Strategic Partnershipon on their official website.
According to the press, His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, and His Excellency TSUGE Yoshifumi, Japan State Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed their mutual desire to reinforce the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established between the two nations in 2023.
