On 2 January 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release regarding the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on 2 January 2026.

There have been 67,077 displaced persons continuing to return to their homes, resulting in a remaining total of 326,563 displaced persons, including 171,987 women and 105,333 children.
