On 28 December 2025, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release regarding the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on 28 December 2025.
The heroic Cambodian forces and the Thai military have implemented the ceasefire, resulting in a calm situation, in accordance with the Joint Statement of the 3rd Special General Border Committee (GBC) at the Prum International Border Crossing in Pailin Province on 27 December 2025. In total, from 7 December to 6:00 PM on 28 December 2025, there have been 32 civilian deaths and 95 injuries.
