On 3 January 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release regarding the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on 3 January 2026.

From 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on 3 January 2026, 46,415 displaced persons continued to return to their homes, resulting in a remaining total of 280,091 displaced persons, including 147,430 women and 90,670 children.
