On 12 January 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release on the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 6:00 AM on 11 January to 6:00 AM on 12 January 2026.
From 6:00 AM on 11 January to 6:00 AM on 12 January 2026, an additional 1,880 displaced persons returned to their homes. Therefore, out of a total of more than 640,000 displaced persons, approximately 490,000 displaced persons have returned to their homes. As a result, 159,592 displaced persons remain in displacement camps.
