On 17 January 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release on the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 6:00 AM on 16 January to 6:00 AM on 17 January 2026.

Approximately 510,000 displaced persons have returned to their homes. As a result, there are 137,772 people remaining in displacement camps.
