On 25 January 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release on the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 6:00 AM on 24 January to 6:00 AM on 25 January 2026.
An additional 1,502 displaced persons returned to their homes. Therefore, approximately 530,000 people, equivalent to about 82 percent of the total of more than 640,000 displaced persons, have reintegrated into their communities. As a result, there are 115,277 displaced persons, including 60,651 women and 38,230 children, remaining in displacement camps.
