On 8 February 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release on the situation following the ceasefire agreement from 6:00 AM on 7 February to 6:00 AM on 8 February 2026 and the position of the Ministry of Interior of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

As of 8 February, 86,447 people of the more than 640,000 displaced persons are still unable to return to their homes.
