On 25 March 2026, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a statement on responding to media enquiries regarding recent developments on the Cambodia–Thailand border.

The statement reaffirmed Cambodia’s commitment to international law and peaceful dispute resolution, highlighted the role of the Joint Boundary Commission (JBC), and emphasized continued cooperation to ensure peace and stability along the Cambodia–Thailand border.
