The inauguration of the Legal Documentation Centre relating to the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia
On 27 June 2017, the Embassy of Japan and the Council of Ministers are going to hold the inauguration of the Legal Documentation Centre (LDC) relating to the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC). Japan has contributed about 2.354 million US dollars through the Japanese counterpart fund originating from the Japanese Non-Project Grant Aid, for the construction of the LDC’s building and its facilities such as the archives and information and communication equipment. The Embassy of Japan strongly believe that the LDC has great value for preserving the legacies of the Tribunal.
