Cambodia, M’sia sign $80 mln agreement for telecom improvement in Cambodia
EZECOM and Telekom Malaysia has [sic] signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Tuesday to install a submerged cable system called the Malaysia-Cambodia-Thailand Cable System (MCT). A statement reported that Cambodia’s leading Internet service Telcotech Ltd -- a part of Ezecom -- will sign the MOU with Telekom Malaysia Berhad for MCT. Thailand who is also expected to take part in the project very soon. "The two companies will work together for this $80 million MCT investment", said Paul Blanche-Horgan, director of EZECOM, adding that this agreement is important not only for Cambodia, but also the whole telecom sector. ...
