Cambodia’s ruling party sweeps local elections: official results

The ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) swept 2,540 out of the country’s 3,324 seats in the second elections for municipal, provincial, and district councilors, which were held on May 18, according to the official results released by the National Election Committee late Tuesday.
