Kampong Speu shoe factory construction suspended: Governor

The construction of a shoe factory in Kampong Speu province’s Kong Pisei district has been suspended after local authorities ruled it has not been following technical standards. Officials in the Kingdom are scrambling to inspect completed and under-construction buildings to avoid collapses similar to what happened in Kep earlier this month.
