NagaCorp to Construct New Election Committee Building
Phnom Penh’s only licensed casino, NagaWorld, has agreed to build a brand-new 15-story tower for the National Election Committee (NEC) as part of its plans to invest $369 million in expanding its current operations over the next three years, an official at the casino said yesterday. NagaCorp has successfully negotiated to double the size of its 92,000 square meter casino on land that belongs to the NEC by footing the $17 million the committee needs for a new headquarters, said Jared Tan, assistant manager of corporate finance at NagaCorp.
