Cambodia attracts over 879,000 tourists from ASEAN region
For the first semester of 2013, Cambodia attracted 879, 782 tourist arrivals from ASEAN region, plus 23.5 per cent if compared in the same period of last year, a report from tourism ministry obtained on Tuesday said. The figure of tourist arrivals from ASEAN for the first semester accounted for 42 per cent of total tourists in the kingdom. Vietnam stands first row of tourist arrivals in the country, about 423, 000 in total ( plus 12 per cent) and Laos of 183, 581 (plus 77.8 per cent), Thailand of 111, 000 ( plus 20.9 per cent), Malaysia of 60,657 (plus 12.9 per cent) , and Philippines of 58,000 (plus 19.5 per cent) , Singapore of 26, 377 (plus 8.6per cent) , and Indonesia of 13,305( 38.5 per cent) , and Myanmar of 2653 ( 4.5 per cent) and Brunei of 312 ( minus 35 per cent). ...
