Cambodia, ILO Promotes Decent Work for All

PHNOM PENH: The International Labor Organization (ILO) and Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training launched a Decent Work for All Profile for Cambodia which assesses progress in the development of labor market conditions and protection for workers over the past decade on Monday 30th July. “Launching a decent work country profile for Cambodia consider a start point for ensuring progress toward decent work for all,” the joint statement said. Speaking at the launching ceremony, Jiyuan Wang, the ILO Country Director for Cambodia, Thailand and Lao PDR, said that monitoring and assesseing progress toward decent work at the country-level is an important task for the ILO and its constituents. … The Profile is developed under the ILO’s Monitoring and Assessing Progress of Decent Work Project (MAP), funded by the European Union and carried out by ILO in collaboration with the Governemnt of Cambodia and its social partners….
