Millions of dollars to modernise Calmette

Prime Minister Hun Sen on Friday revealed the government and charity organisations have donated more than $100 million to modernise Calmette Hospital in Phnom Penh. He said on Facebook charity organisations have donated about $80 million, while the government donated about $30 million. “This budget will make it possible for us to make the Calmette Hospital into a polytechnic centre for medical examinations,” Mr Hun Sen said, noting the government will disburse $30 million for the construction of a 12-storey hospital building. ...
