Rep wrongfully fired from airport: union

The Cambodian Tourism and Service Worker’s Federation (CTSWF) is asking Minister of Labour Vong Sauth to intervene in the case of one union worker fired from a Phnom Penh International Airport company with no reason offered. Nin Kosal, who worked as union secretary for the Cambodia Airport Management Service (CAMS), was fired in May, deputy secretary of the CTSWF Sok Narith said. On Wednesday the CTSWF sent a letter asking the Minister of Labour to intervene to allow Kosal to return to work. ... Nin Kosal denies CAMS’ accusation that he was drinking on the job, saying the company was  simply “angry with me because I always help workers who have problems here”.
