On 04 March 2021, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts released an announcement on the continuation of the suspension of cinemas, art theaters, and museums in Phnom Penh, Kandal province, and Sihanoukville concerning the spread of COVID-19 in “the community transmission event on 20 February” which is still spreading and thus take action to prevent further transmission.
