Announcement on the extension of the exemption from penalties for companies failing to file annual reports by imposing a fine of up to 1 year for a period of 6 months
On 07 August 2026, Ministry of Commerce issued an announcement on the extension of the exemption from penalties for companies failing to file annual reports by imposing a fine of up to 1 year for a period of 6 months.
Please be informed that the Ministry of Commerce has received a series of requests and observed the necessity of companies that intend to fulfill the obligation to file annual reports but have failed to do so by the deadline, as previously notified through Notice No. 005 dated 08 January 2026 on the exemption from penalties for companies failing to file annual reports to fulfill the obligation until 01 April 2026. Therefore, Ministry of Commerce would like to inform all company owners or managers about the extension of the exemption from penalties for companies that fail to submit annual reports for an additional 6 months, subject to certain conditions being met.
