Announcement on the implementation of the mechanism for providing Khmer nationality identity cards at the capital and provincial police stations to Cambodian migrants
On 29 June 2026, Ministry of Interior issued an announcement on the implementation of the mechanism for providing Khmer nationality identity cards at the capital and provincial police stations to Cambodian migrants.
To enhance the efficiency of providing better services to citizens in accordance with the policies of the Royal Government of Cambodia, the Ministry of Interior has the honor to inform all Cambodian citizens that from 01 July 2026 onwards, the General Department of Identification, Ministry of Interior, and will implement the mechanism for providing Khmer nationality identity cards at the capital and provincial police stations to Cambodian migrants who are working, studying, or pursuing their studies outside the capital and province of their permanent residence.
