Announcement on the storm status notice for cyclone Atsani
On 24 August 2026, Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology issued an announcement on the storm status notice for Cyclone Atsani.
The low-pressure area over the western Pacific Ocean has developed into Cyclone Atsani T2621, along with Cyclone Saudel T2618, which has developed into Cyclone Narra T2619 and Cyclone Gaenari T2620, which are affecting the southwest monsoon over the Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea, South China Sea, Mekong River Basin, Cambodian Sea, and the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Kingdom of Cambodia is not in the path of these four cyclones.
