Exchange of notes for Japan’s grant assistance

On Friday 23 September 2016, in response to a request from the Royal Government of Cambodia and the World Food Programme (hereinafter referred as “WFP”), the Government of Japan has agreed to extend a Grant Assistance of two hundred and twenty million Japanese Yen (¥220,000,000), equivalent to about 2 million US dollars, to the Kingdom of Cambodia through WFP for the purpose of contributing to the implementation of the School Feeding Programme. Notes to this effect were exchanged between Mr. Gianpietro Bordignon, Representative and Country Director of World Food Programme Cambodia, and H.E. Mr. KUMAMARU Yuji, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Embassy of Japan.
