On 04 May 2026, the Ministry of Economy and Finance issued a press release on the Royal Government’s decision on measures to regulate the domestic beer and non-alcoholic beverage sector.
The Royal Government of Cambodia has decided to implement the policy of prohibiting the provision of prizes through cans on sugary drinks, energy drinks, and all types of alcoholic products from October 1, 2026 onwards.
