Press release on the signing of Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund agreement between Cambodia and China
On 23 June 2020, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn and His Excellency Wang Wentian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Cambodia, will sign the Agreement on the Cooperation Projects of the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund 2020 on 23 June 2020. Under this Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund, 20 Cambodian projects have been supported and granted fund at the amount of USD 7,225,400.00, mostly covering activities related to socio-economic development; human resource development; cybersecurity and capacity building; tourism and service; environment; cultural protection etc.
