Press Release: Results of the 2019 annual report conference and the direction for 2020 of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction

On 25 December 2019, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction published a press release on the results of the 2019 annual report conference and activity plan for 2020. The conference has approved on 21 major points, which includes:

  • Continuing the Royal Government reforming program, especially land reform policy;
  • Continuing to complete the land registration plan by 90 percent in 2020 and 100 percent across the nation by 2021,
  • Continuing to register more indigenous communal lands,
  • Speeding up the resolutions for the remaining land disputes,
  • Continuing to register state lands objected for Economic Land Concessions (ELCs) and take measures to protect state lands that were reserved for social land concession project (LASED III) and prevent state land from encroachment,
  • Launching of the online services for cadastral information and construction business registration;
  • Continuing to develop coastal land use planning and providing technical support to provincial territorial arrangements, land use planning, green development planing, Smart City planning, natural and environmental resources protection and so forth.
