Announcement on Cyclone Bavi Status

On 02 July 2026, Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology issued an announcement Cyclone Bavi Status.

The low-pressure area over the western Pacific Ocean has developed into Cyclone Bavi T2609 and is affecting the southwest monsoon over the Bay of Bengal, the Andaman Sea, the South China Sea, the Mekong River Basin, the Cambodian Sea, and the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Kingdom of Cambodia is not in the path of Cyclone Bavi.
