On 11 August 2026, Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology issued an announcement on the impact of a severe storm.

On the 12th, the low pressure area developing over the western Pacific Ocean will develop into a storm on 17 August 2026, together with the 16th storm, Peiou T2616, the 15th storm, Chan-hom T2615, and the 13th storm, Dolphin T2613, which will have a strong impact on the southwest monsoon regime, but the Kingdom of Cambodia is not in the path of these storms.
