Joint press release: Rare birds population show signs of increase
On 11 January 2023, World Wide Fund for nature Cambodia has posted a joint press release on rare birds population show signs of increase on their official website.
According to the press, in 2022, for the fourth year in a row, the census counts show higher numbers of the white shoulder ibis. This result is very encouraging suggesting that conservation measures, or better counting at least in some areas may account for the higher total.
