On 21 September 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release regarding Deputy Prime Minister to attend Summit of the Future and UN General Assembly on their official website.

According to the press, H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, is set to attend the Summit of the Future and the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York from 22 to 30 September 2024.
