Press release of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications on allowing Facebook representatives to continue working in Cambodia

On 29 August 2023, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a press release informing the public that Meta Platforms Inc. decided not to penalize Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s official Facebook account. The Ministry also allowed the Meta Platforms Inc. representative to return to work in Cambodia but did not welcome the individual members of the Oversight Board.
